Does registering/purchasing the car under the companies name affect anything with the purchase and after sales service?

Hi

If the company I work for (not connected to transpo/taxi/grab/delivery) is giving me the cash to purchase a car as my personal company car brand new from a dealership and I want it registered and receipted under the company's name, will there be any issues? Or Will it be the same process as if I purchased the car under my name?

Are there extra requirements for this?

Will the warranty be the same?

I'm worried they might invalidate the warranty if they think its a company car.

LTO allows cars to be registered under a company's name, correct?

Need help choosing a bigger ride for my growing family

My family is growing and we need a bigger ride. Order of priority is as follows:

1. Room - from what I've seen, crossovers and AUV/SUV should be ok for our needs. Reclining chairs so we can fit a bigger cargo from time to time is a plus.

2. Value for money - favor features like good ac / ventilation, better quality parts, better interiors, and features and lower maintenance cost over cosmetics.

3. Maintenance and serviceability - drive and forget, I don't have time to maintain it apart from annual maintenance.

My car's airconditioning only get cold when the car runs in the expressway, but when it is stuck in traffic, cold air doesnt come out, just regular air.

Are Filipinos ready for this technology? Are you willing to automate your door accessibility, let go of the physical keys and use your mobile phone / internet / bluetooth to distribute access to your family?

Just based on experience I have tried it. I can forget my home keys, but not my mobile phone. I am very reliant on my mobile phone when it comes to organizing my schedules, reminders, etc. So I used it as my access to my home and condo units as well.

Would like to know what other Filipinos think of this growing trend on Smart Home Automation. :nod:

May alam ba kayo technique para magstretch/expand un shock absorber? Matagal na stock un shocks na bago(spare) tapos nung nilagay napansin un shocks hindi na nageexpand. Pag inaangat un car from lifter only rear shocks un bumaba, un front nastuck. See pic for reference

Buying a 2nd hand 2010-2013 toyota corolla

I am planning to purchase a car. I have an autoloan approved for a brandnew (700k budget) car, but I am also considering buying a 2nd hand corolla (2010-2013 model).

Some questions I have:

1. Will it be more practical to buy a brand new car vs a used corolla in terms of cost. (will I be able to save some cash buying 2nd hand or more or less I'll be spending the same amount due to possible repairs?)
2. What are the common problems of the 2010-2013 corolla I need to be cautious of?
3. Is the automatic transmission of that model problematic? I originally want a manual car (most likely less probs), but if the automatic isn't problematic then I can consider that model.

Good day mga Sir. papatulong sana ako sa problem ko. I have a starex 99 matic. regarding po ito sa brake. kung mga b'brake ako. kumagakagat nmn at first. then next brake ko. tumitigas na ung brake pedal niya at mahirap na i'brake tsaka umiilaw ung brake warning lights. at kong hahayaan ko muna mga ilang minutes. nag o'ok nmn po siya. pero everytime magbrake ako. nag'o-occur po ulit ung problema niya hard pedal braking. anu po kaya probs nun?.

Good day mga sir and ma'am,

My wife and I are considering purchasing a second hand 2011 - 2012 Ford Escape 2.3 (price range - 300-400k) and would like to ask for your inputs regarding the following.

1. Will long-term maintenance be an issue in terms of cost, labor and parts availability? Hindi po ba sya hassle or expensive to maintain? San kayo nagpapa change oil?

2. Fuel consumption as a daily driver and for out of town trips? Kamusta naman ang hatak nya for steep roads and inclines? Hindi naman po ba hirap especially when there's traffic?

3. Flood forging capabilities? Nalusong nyo na po ba ang Escape nyo sa baha? gano po kalalim and kinaya naman po ba matawaid yung baha w/out any problems after?

4. Related to Q2 - Ideal lang po ba nasa mga known casa (other than FORD like Servitek, Rapide, Motech etc.) lang sya dapat dalhin or any trusted mechanic w/ Ford know-how should do?

5. What specific things or issues should we look out for when inspecting a unit? Also should we request for a test drive?

6. Lastly, could you recommend a buy and sell casa in the vicinity of Makati or anywhere South in general?

Hi

I have decided to travel all the way to Banawe to have my aircon fixed since I will also get it tinted in that QC/Manila area. (I am not asking for an airconshop that also does tinting, just to avoid confusion)

Can anyone recommend a good aircon repair shop in Banawe?
